About Me

I am a U.S. certified School Psychologist with a Master of Science in Counseling and a Specialist Degree in Educational Psychology from California State University, Northridge. Additionally, I hold a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology from the American Board of School Neuropsychology. My educational background also includes a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance and Movement Therapy from Lesley University.

I began my career as a School Psychologist in 2004 and have worked internationally since 2009. For the last 17 years, I have collaborated with schools worldwide, working full-time within five international schools (Serbia, Egypt, the Netherlands, Thailand, and Bulgaria) and partnering with many others across the globe. My contract work has taken me to countries such as Turkmenistan, Saudi Arabia, Romania, Serbia, and Germany to support schools in person, as well as to conduct virtual assessments and consultations for globally mobile students in international schools across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Central America.

Throughout my practice, I have supported students from preschool through university and served a diverse population of learners with a wide range of profiles and needs, including Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disability, Developmental Delays, and mental health challenges such as Anxiety and Depression. I have conducted comprehensive psycho-educational and gifted assessments, implemented interventions within school and home settings, and facilitated close collaboration among educators, families, and support staff. I also regularly deliver workshops and professional learning sessions for schools and conferences (ISCA, EARCOS, FIGT, BKK Counselors) on topics such as inclusion, transitions, and neurodiversity.

While each service I offer is tailored to the individual’s needs, my work is consistently rooted in understanding, curiosity, and a touch of humor. I am trained in evidence-based assessments, expressive arts therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). As someone who is neurodivergent (ADHD), I approach my work through a neuro-affirming lens grounded in the principles of neurodiversity. My focus is on creating an inclusive, empowering, and strengths-based experience, not on “fixing” or “curing” anyone. I will not teach or encourage individuals to become neurotypical. Instead, I support embracing differences, nurturing authentic self-expression, and recognizing that there is no single “right” way to navigate school, relationships, or life.

Every neurotype brings valuable perspectives, and my role is to help highlight and support those unique strengths.
